whew! hard not to feel totally overcome with awe reading a thing like this. Proud to know you, Lara.

1) current food obsessions: plantain chips (homemade or the TJs kind), variations on street tacos, korean rice cakes, fish crudo

2) food readings: ladyandpups insta, ottolenghi's simple, thug kitchen

3) I feel #blessed for this window into your process. Always learning from you, always admiring your ambition, knowledge of self, and ability to bring people together in creative and meaningful ways. Keep it coming <3

obsessions: amaro, vegan protein snacks and powders (i'm not vegan btw), CBD beverages

reading: i picked up a used copy of bourdain's book years ago but only read a little bit. i recently grabbed it off my shelf and have been enjoying finishing it.

general feedback: this newsletter is great and i love the food project idea. removing the constraints of trying to make the next blockbuster CPG product is going to allow you to be so much more pure with all your decisions along the way.

Love this and everything about your hot girl summer

1. Obsession: Everything bagel crackers dipped in tofutti cream cheese. And marinated artichoke hearts // Hearts of palm by the jarful. Wish I could blame these on pregnancy but nah, just love that brine!

2. Reading The Night Watchman by Louise Erdrich.

3. Keep writing this!!! It’s delightful

4. Banner — some art by Lara made with different colored sauces/condiments...?

This is awesome. That is all. Hoping I get to buy (and taste) the results.

Uht oh, I like this blog... a lot.

1) Latest taste obsession - a plant based milk that actually tastes like whole milk (millennially named Not Milk) blended until frothy with Crio Bru, a cacao based, french-press-strained, coffee substitute. Actually no. I take that back. It's not a substitute. It's just its own thing.

2) Reading - Drawdown. Specifically chapters about food systems, regenerative farming, silvo pasture, etc. Into it.

3) Better ideas? Nah - I felt imposter syndrome simply reading your blog, then remembered no one else can be Lara, which allowed me to just lovingly gobble it up. Onward in this direction pls.

4) Banner: not my bailiwick. Godspeed.

Love this! Wishing kombucha weren't so sweet. I think rhubarb and cauliflower are both under appreciated.
